About me:
I have 16 years of litigation experience. I’ve tried multiple cases to verdict and have handled appeals on a wide variety of issues. I have roughly the same amount of experience on both sides of the “v.” For the first half of my law career, I almost exclusively represented insureds as defense counsel and insurers in coverage matters. For the second half of my career, I have focused on representation of plaintiffs in injury cases, construction matters, and coverage matters. As such, I am able to assess claims from both a defense and plaintiff’s perspective. Throughout my career, I’ve taken a special interest in cases involving technical and medical issues due to my background. Let my experience and even perspective work for you and your clients.

Preparation is paramount. There is nothing worse than showing up to a mediation and feeling like the settlement master does not fully understand the facts or legal issues of your case. That will not happen with me. I know the amount of work it takes to effectively advocate for clients. As such, you have my commitment to being fully prepared for your mediation. No two cases are exactly the same. Therefore, you should expect your settlement master to prepare for the case at hand, not a case that was tried 10 years ago. Preparation translates to efficiency and results. That is what you can expect from me.
Mediation services:
Our firm is currently offering mediation services. We have two dedicated private conference rooms at our office. I am willing to travel anywhere in Western Montana. We are also able to offer virtual services. My fees will be $275/hour for preparation and attending as settlement master, ½ rate for travel time, plus any necessary travel expenses.
